This is an abridged translation of a booklet originally written in Chinese. It is a brief account of my personal experience in educational work written in the hope that the facts related herein and the principles discussed may have some value as reference material for others working in the same field. This abridged translation is published in the belief that it may be of interest to those of our friends abroad who wish to know something about the development of education in the Republic of China.
