A: Hey, Jack, I didn’t see you at the biology class. Where have you been?
B: Uh, I’ve overslept, as you know, again. Did Professor Lee say anything?
A: Yeah, I’m afraid that you have to go to his office this afternoon.
B: Oh, hell no. I really don’t know what to say.
A: I bet this time you do. About your qualification for the final exam.
B: Don’t you think he’s making a mountain out of a molehill?
A: Maybe he is, but you still have to go. Wait a minute, what’s in your hand? A notebook for advanced mathematics? Where’s your textbook?
B: The consequence of a rush morning. I forgot to bring it with me. And there’s only this notebook in my locker. Never mind. By the way, do you know where Professor Lee’s office is?
A: Nope. But I do know that you’re going the wrong way now. Follow me, your classroom is next to mine. One minute left and three floors to climb. Ready to run?
B: That’s exactly what I’m good at.
A: Morning, selina.
B: Morning, eh, sookie? Look at yourself, a new perm. I didn’t recognize you.
A: Yeah, I’m really tired of my old hair style.
B: Come on, I’ve always been envying you for your long straight hair, plus, Natural.
A: But long straight hair since primary school, believe me, you would be weary of it, too.
B: Then what’s the reason you changed your twenty-year-old hair style?
A: Eh, can we just skip this part? You know what, the new perm is really expensive. To live though this month, I have to do some part-time job to make ends meet.
B: But it’s worth the price. You look pretty with your new perm.
A: Thank you. It’s my classroom. Bye.
B: Bye.
A: 谢谢。
A: Hi, Lucy, where did you get your coffee?
B: My locker. Here you are. And hot water is over there.
A: Thank you. It’s a torture for me to get up early, especially when philosophy is the first class.
B: Obviously, you haven’t had your breakfast. And I have this.
A: Napoleon cake! My favorite!
B: Stop, stop, don’t look at me like that. It’s creepy. Just for the record, I have no interests in you.
A: Neither do I. By the way, why are you here? You don’t have any classes this morning, as I can recall.
B: To get to the library, it’s a shortcut to go through this building. And you’d better finish your breakfast before entering the classroom in case it’s Professor Cooper’s.
A: Thank you for your reminding. Meet me at the dining hall at 12 o’clock. I can buy you lunch.
B: Bye.
A: 谢谢。
A: 我也是。
A: Hey, Charlie, can you take a seat for me. I’ll make a detour to grab some breakfast.
B: No problem. Your books. And grab me a cup of coffee, please.
A: See you around.
B: See you.
C: Third time this week. Didn’t you get tired taking seat for him?
B: That’s no big deal. I can take a seat for you if you want.
C: The question is, you and I, we’re not in the same classroom the next class. And Robert, he is with me.
B: Oh, I’ve totally forgotten that. Guess what, now it’s your turn to take a seat for Charlie.
C: What else can I say. You are my friend, and Robert is your friend, and even I don’t like him, I have to take a seat for him.
B: Thank you. And by the way, you can have my coffee.
A: 回头见。
A: Morning, Lily. Have you heard of the gossip?
B: What gossip?
A: Professor Green was badly injured in a car accident and still unconscious now.
B: Oh, god. That’s really a tragedy. I mean, She is so nice to everyone. Then who’s gonna give lessons to us?
C: The assisitant or tutor? Whatever, we’re gonna have a rough time from the next class.
B: I hope Professor Green could make it. Or I would probably fail in the final exam. Then I’ll be the tragedy.
A: Anyway, we’re gonna pay a visit to her this afternoon. Will you join us?
B: Yes, absolutely. When and where shall we meet?
C: I will text you two later. And now I’ll turn right, you two keep on going.
A,B: See you.
A: 早,莉莉。
A,B: 回头见
