The Roles of Basketball Positions 籃球比賽球員角色
Point guard 控球後衛：
The point guard is the player who directs and organizes the team’s offense. The player is usually the fastest player on the team and supposed to control the ball and make sure that it gets to the right player at the right time.
指揮與組織球隊進攻的球員，通常是隊上速度最快的球員，負責控球，並確保能在正確時機將球傳給閤適的球員。
著名球員：林書豪、Steve Nash

Shooting guard 得分後衛：
The shooting guard is the player who usually creates a high volume of long ranged shots on offense. Sometimes the shooting guard also goes to the hoop when he gets the opportunity.
進攻時負責在外綫大量投球得分的球員，當有機會時得分後衛也會切入上籃。
著名球員：Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan

Small forward 小前鋒：
The small forward is active by cuts to the basket and dribble penetration and perceive the ability of scoring points; on defense seeks rebounds and steals.
身手十分靈敏，通常靠運球切入籃下而擁有高超的得分能力，在防守方麵則負責籃闆球及抄球。
著名球員：Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James

Power forward 大前鋒：
The power forward plays offensively often with their back to the basket; on defense, plays under the basket to block
out the opposing power forward and grab the rebounds.
通常背對籃框進攻，在防守時都常在籃下卡位 (阻擋對手的大前鋒) 與搶籃闆。
著名球員：Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett
