　　例2：花錢買爽 retail therapy
　　retail therapy 字麵上的意思是「零售治療」，是以戲謔的方式錶示透過購物來舒緩壓力，也就是我們說的「花錢買爽」囉。類似的說法還有 comfort buy/purchase（買來讓自己心情變好的東西）。

　　特色二：望文不生義的道地美式口說句，解說到讓你恍然大悟！

　　Winnie: You mean C-R-A-P—that kind of crap?
　　溫妮：你是說，C-R-A-P 那個大便？
　　Jacob: Yes. Why buy it for ＄8.99 a pound when you can get it for free? Ha-ha.
　　傑可：對，乾嘛要花 8.99 美元買一磅根本免費的東西？哈哈！
　　Winnie: That is pretty funny. It was probably supposed to be “crab.” To Chinese speakers, “p” and “b” sound pretty similar.
　　溫妮：真好笑，可能原本要寫 crab（螃蟹）吧。對說中文的人來說，p 和 b 聽起來差不多。
