作者简介

V. S. Vernon Jones

　　为二十世纪之翻译家，于 1912 年完成多篇《伊索寓言》之翻译。

Richard Luhrs

　　美国纽约出生，纽约州立大学（State University of New York）英语写作系与哲学系（BA in English Composition and Philosophy）双学士。曾于纽约兰登书屋等知名出版社担任编辑工作。1992年加入和平队（Peace Corps），外派至泰国从事英语教学志愿服务。之后二十余年间曾于日本、南韩、中国、台湾、印尼、沙乌地阿拉伯、缅甸、寮国等地从事英语教学。曾替LTTC 财团法人语言训练测验中心及各出版社编写英语教材。
