This pocket-sized paperback is one of the twenty-four titles published for 2017 Hong Kong International Poetry Nights. The theme of IPHHK2017 is “Ancient Enmity”. IPNHK is one of the most influential international poetry events in Asia. From 22–26 November 2017, over 20 invited poets from various countries will be in Hong Kong to read their works based on the theme “Ancient Enmity.” Included in the anthology and box set, these unique works are presented with Chinese and English translations in bilingual or trilingual formats.

詩人，東國大學講座教授，曾獲現代文學奬、素月詩歌奬、鄭芝溶文學奬、瑞典「蟬」國際文學奬等。2004年詩集《噴泉》獲馬其頓泰托沃世界文學論壇年度詩人奬。2008年獲韓國藝術評論傢協會年度最優秀藝術傢奬。曾參加美國愛荷華大學國際寫作計劃。英譯詩集有Windflower, Woman on the Terrace 及I Must Be the Wind。

She has won prestigious awards such as the Sowol Poetry Award, the Chong Chi-Yong Literature Prize, the Mogwol Literature Prize, and Sweden’s Cikada Prize. She has participated in the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa. English editions of her books include Windflower, Woman on the Terrace, and I Must Be the Wind.

遇到輾轉難眠的戀情
我首先想找他商量和諮詢
天阿，彆的都行，唯獨這事不行
想到這裹我又翻身躺下
世界上離我最近又最遠的男人
有時感覺像是冤傢對頭
可是尋遍地球
最愛我生的孩子們的男人
恐怕還是他
今天我又做好瞭晚飯
突然想到，他是和我一起吃飯

關於戰爭，教我最多的男人
Husband
Neither father, nor brother,
but somewhere between. The two,
when a restless love keeps me awake,
I yearn to talk to him, alas
I can bare everything to him
But this; I spin
In bed
The closest, the farthest man on Earth
I’m amazed at times what a foe he is,
Yet he could be the one
who loves my babies best.
I cook dinner for him.
He, I realize, is the one I shared
most meals with, who taught me
how to fight.
