立足于现代，又不侷限于现代，于现代诗主流中建立起自己「独立的诗歌人格」。 ◎继前一本《流云集DriftingClouds》之后，作者今生「第二部代表作」。 ◎中英双语对照。106首原创中文诗＋106首英译诗＝世界集。 ◎不搭时代顺风车，「听从自己内在的召唤」，一步步建立起自己的「独立的诗歌人格」。 我在写的时候，如果像是在写遗言，是那么凝重或者说是厚实，我就知道那是自己最想说的，也是最值得留给世界的作品了！ 《世界集 Worlds》就是这样的一本书，是留给世界我想说的一些话，也涵盖了个人大半辈子的诗（思）想精华…… 当「诗主流」构成了一局「乱世」也产生了诸多「偏颇」现象， 这些「乱象」仍将持续发挥其「机械力」而铺天盖地的影响着，直到后世又后世， 此时，需要一股更强大的力量包括「变异」的事实来抗衡牠， 「拉开最大的距离」是必要的，尤其是，以「永恆之心」和「历史之眼」来进行审视，我们需要更多耐心来「听从自己内在的召唤」，来期待「超越」的作品， 「伟大」的「鉅着」，都是从「大孤独」之中诞生。 当「时间」愈久，此部诗集的价值就会愈鲜明起来——白家华的诗歌。 我不奢望你的天空总是晴朗的，只希望我自己有能力去飞越陆地或海洋！在我必须出发的时刻，尽管在途中，乌云密佈，大雨滂沱，让我依然不畏缩吧！ Not do I expect your sky to be always clear,but hope I have the ability to fly over the land or the sea! 男，1963年生于台南，长于桃园。
逢甲大学企管系毕业，政治大学教育学分班结业；国中、小作文班资深教师。出版有诗集八部：《群树的唿吸》、《阳光集》、《一百篇爱的诗歌》、《清心集》、中文原创英文自译之《流云集》（Drifting Clouds）等，及这一本《世界集》（Worlds），后两部是代表作。作文专着出版有《引导式作文》、《365每天快乐学作文》等。另着有20余部诗集，曾获优秀诗人奖、吴浊流文学奖等。

世界，来自于您的心魂的创造欲望的，广大到足以容纳数不清的宇宙，而仍有余裕的时空。
而且您也带来您的爱，来让世界的存在，那来自于您的心魂的创造欲望的，永不成为空虚寂寥的。
以种种形式，您用您的爱的奉献来一点一滴地丰盈了众生――冷风昇华花朵的香气于干燥与清新里，树花欢欣地盛开于它们自己的美丽中，流星燃放出短暂却永恆的光芒。
而且，啊，我们并不能真正地爱我们自己，除非我们爱这个您已经给予我们的世界！

Worlds, which have come from thy soul’s creative desire, are broad enough to hold the countless universes and are still plenty of time and space.
And thou broughtest thy love to make the existences of worlds, which have come from thy soul’s creative desire, never be empty and solitary.
In various forms thou fillest all living creatures with thy love dedication bit by bit-- cold winds sublimate the fragrancy of flowers in dryness and in freshness, treeflowers bloom with delight in their own beauty, and meteors burst forth their short but eternal light.
And, oh, we cannot truly love ourselves unless we love this world which thou hast given us!

如今，您已被赋予许多个名字，它们常被我们唱成歌曲；奇蹟已顺利地诞生；深沉的喜悦从平静中涌出，又回归于平静。
啊， 主， 您的名字就是「世界」， 也是「太阳」，就是「宇宙」，也是「月亮」！
众心常大声唿喊或轻声低语您的名字「上帝」，像孩童高兴地称谓自己的母亲是「妈妈」。

At that time thy anger was still screamed out by the lightning and thy smile was hidden in the original light.
Now thou hast been endowed with many names, which we often sing into songs. Miracles have been born.
The deep joy emerges from calmness and then returns to calmness.
O Lord, thy names are World and Sun, Universe and Moon!
Hearts often call out aloud or whisper softly thy name God like children are happy to call their mothers ＂mom＂.
