　　Taipei is blessed with many wonderful cultural assets. Each of the twelve administrative districts has its own unique atmosphere, comprising distinctive shops. Tantalizing foods, captivating museums…..We pass them by every day, but do we ever really walk these districts？ Do we ever truly see the treasures they contain？

　　Some of the best sites are little known: Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial House, an oasis of quiet amid the bustle; the art galleries of the east Taipei business district; the Artists’ Friendship Center; the alley off Bin chiang St., from where you can watch airplanes land; the old street of Chingmei; the Taiwan Folk Art Museum; the Chueh Family Ancestral Home…. We hope that this book will bring you to more of Taipei’s worthiest destinations, and provide useful information on each administrative district.
