淡江大学中国文学系毕业。1998年开始以笔名林弦在《中外文学》、《文学台湾》、《淡水牛津文艺》和《台湾新文学》等刊物发表诗作，现为《笠》诗社同仁。出版散文集《非日记》（2009年）、诗集《林中弦音》（2010年）、《面具》（2016年）、《不确定的风景》（2017年），以及汉英西三语诗集《保证》（2017年）。入选英汉西三语《两半球诗路》、西班牙语《以诗为证》、义大利语《对话》、西汉英三语《台湾心声》等诗选集。诗另被译成孟加拉文、阿尔巴尼亚文、马其顿文、土耳其文等。参加2015年台南福尔摩莎国际诗歌节，2016年孟加拉卡塔克（Kathak）诗高峰会、淡水福尔摩莎国际诗歌节、第20届马其顿奈姆日（Ditët e Naimit）国际诗歌节，2017年祕鲁第18届柳叶黑野樱、巴列霍及其土地（Capulí Vallejo y su Tierra）国际诗歌节、淡水福尔摩莎国际诗歌节。

Under the blue sky
Tamsui the township
nestles among the green ocean.
The train transported away the old time a little by little.
The MRT*1 brings in the flocks of tourists in waves.
My youth dance steps have polished
the lanterns avenue in Tamkang University.
The sunset admired by Rev. Mackay*2
now fishes by the Fisherman’s Wharf.
The tourists flock as fishes.
Guanyin*3 has been insisting to lay on the mountaintop
in greeting you from a distance to dedicate poetry.
What is the happy time in Tamsui
is neither the old time
nor the new age.
From right bank to the left,
from flowers withering to blooming,
I accompany with you side by side into a time labyrinth,
in this way to keep the best time
surely in all my life.

*2 Rev. George Leslie Mackay (1844~1901) was the first Canadian Presbyterian missionary to Formosa on 1871 New Year’s Eve and then have lived in Tamsui all his life.
