作者简介

玳瑚师父 Master Dai Hu

　　儿时，看着家父白天做工，其余时间施诊医治无数人的奇难杂症，又以玄学为人们排忧解难，得到很多人的赞赏。当时就想，有一天也要像家父一样，有「非一般的能力」，做个对社会有贡献的人。

　　但梦想归梦想，吾也有自己的「业缘」要还。「雨过天晴」后，吾并没有就此「享受人生」。

　　反而比以前更精进。因为吾的内心深处仍然有几个字亮光着，那就是以佛法与玄学，同步利益众生。就因这誓愿，人们在睡，吾则在用功。人们在玩乐，吾也在用功。吾不是不懂得「善待」自己，而是希望做个有信用的人。

　　十九年的利生岁月里，累积了足以写成万篇短暂人生的情义故事。过去曾提笔想写，却迟迟写不出一行字，而如今一提笔，灵感就源源不绝。惟愿这首首「情歌」能牵动「六神无主」的妳／你，迈向永恆快乐、光明的未来境界。

作者序

没有没有用的人

　　举凡是人，大致上都不喜被冠上三个字。哪三个字？即「没有用」也。

　　其实啊！吾，玳瑚师父，学佛开启了智慧后，妙观这世间众生，都有她他们一定的用处，根本就没有没有用的人。

　　唯存的是，妳你或她他，到底有没有尽心尽力、全力以赴的去完成每一件事儿。若答案是有的话，那妳你与她他又怎能归类于「没有用的人」呢？

　　当然！若妳你不介意被冠上「没有用」这三个字的话，那就请便。不过吾还是劝妳你，三思再三思。因为，妳你未来的后代，肯定会出现没有用的子女哦！到时妳你拼命叫，或教她他有用，很难很难会如妳你所愿。为什么？因果也。

　　记住玳瑚师父的话，根本就没有没有用的人，而是妳你到底有没有发挥妳你最大的潜能。大家一起来做个最有用的人，造福自己，造福一切众生，圆满我们这一生。

　　善书多阅，好运增上。

There Ain’t No Useless Person

　　Most people usually will not like to be labelled this word. Which word is that? The word - Useless.

　　Actually, after increased wisdom from learning the Dharma, I have observed that every sentient being in this world has his or her own strengths to contribute. Therefore, there is no such thing as a totally useless person. Rather, it is a question of diligence and sincerity, and whether he or she gives his/her best effort to complete a task. If these qualities are exemplified in abundance, how can you fall into the category of a useless person?

　　Of course, if you do not mind being labelled as such, then please go ahead by all means. However, I will advise you to reconsider such notion because your descendants will surely take after you and your uselessness! When this happens, it is futile even if you shout with all your might, or exhaust your entire life to right the wrong. Why?

　　Karmic retribution.

　　Do remember these words from Master Dai Hu. There is no useless person, only one who has yet to uncover the greatest potential in him or her. Let us do our part and be a useful person, to create benefits for ourselves and all sentient beings, accomplishing the very essence of our life here on Earth.
