杨国枢教授早期从事实验研究，论文多以英文写成，在后来各个重要的研究阶段，也都会撰写英文论文来做总结。先生活跃于国际心理学界，参与重要的心理学研讨会，推动心理学本土化研究，发表许多英文论文。本文集特将杨先生的英文论文集结成册，以「早期实验与社会人格研究」（Early Experiments and Social Personality Research）、「心理转变与现代化研究」（Research in Personality Trandformation and Modernity）、「华人本土心理学研究」（Research in Indigenous Chinese Psychology）三大主题出版九、十、十一等三册。这三册英文论文集可说是杨国枢教授毕生主要心理学研究论着的缩版。

著者信息

作者简介

杨国枢教授（1932–2018）

　　一生致力学术研究、倡导政治社会改革与民主化。曾任教台大、香港中文大学、佛光及中原大学心理学系，担任生命线协会、心理学会、心理卫生学会、亚洲社会心理学会理事长、中央研究院副院长。1998年当选中央研究院院士，2003年担任教育部国家讲座主持人。先生曾主编《大学杂志》，参与国民党与党外公政会协商，创立澄社、担任大学改革协会理事长、行政院教育改革谘询委员兼教育理念与目标组召集人。

瞿海源／主编

　　曾任中央研究院民族所及社会所研究员、社会所所长、台大社会系教授、澄社社长、报社主笔、民间司改会董事长、公视董事。
